CHEMSKETCH

KOS 1110...although my first impression towards this subject is boring and so boring, but today i think i should change my mind.Actually there are so many new things that i can learn.Such as this chemsketch.

Chemsketch is a software that helps drawing molecules, reactions, schematic diagram and etc become easier and quicker.Just click and everything is completed :)

Although it's quite difficult and complicated to draw at the first time..but i'm glad because finally i managed to complete my drawing....Here they are

Lipids and micelles

orbitals

DNA Strand

SMILES :)

Do you know what is SMILES?

Let me share a little bit info about the subject that i've learnt today

The simplified molecular input line entry specification or SMILES is a specification for unambiguously describing the structure of chemical molecules using short ASCII strings. SMILES strings can be imported by most molecule editors for conversion back into two-dimensional drawings or three-dimensional models of the molecules.

So enjoyable to learn and explore all these things..nice:)

PDB ~PROTEIN DATA BANK~!

What is Protein Data Bank all about?
Protein Data Bank or its short name PDB is a repository for 3D biological macromolecular structure.
Using PDB, we are able to access information about the molecular structure that we are looking for.
Here are some molecules from the PDB....Let's have a look my dear frenz :)

30092009

30th September 2009 - Today I learnt something new that i never been explored before.Designing graph in Excel....so complicated and difficult.!Before this, i think i just used excel to do simple things such as name list.
It took a long time even to complete a graph. But, for me i'm quite satisfied bcoz i could finish the task by myself.Put my own effort and didn't depend much on the lecturer for the instructions... This is the best and enjoyable way of learning as "Practice makes Perfect" :)
